It started on a Saturday morning with a bag of trash at the Waterfront. Like many students, volunteering was initially a way to check off community hours or escape the classroom. But as the morning progressed, sorting plastics from organic waste, a deeper realization took hold.

Our actions shape our surroundings. What began as a single cleaning campaign became a weekly routine, then coordination, and ultimately a full-time commitment to environmental restoration. This journey highlights the transformative power of ground-level community service.
